Amid the green energy transition and booming new energy sector, the company has been aligning with national strategies while continuously expanding production capacity and enhancing technological capabilities. Recently, the second phase of its —— "12,400-ton Annual Lithium-Ternary Cathode Material Production Facility (Building 2)" has officially commenced construction, marking a new milestone in the company's development journey.
The project was officially started on September 9, 2025 and is scheduled to be completed on December 17,2025. The total construction period is only 100 calendar days, which demonstrates the "NPC speed" and the determination of the enterprise to implement efficiently. At present, the project has entered the foundation excavation stage, and all work is progressing in an orderly manner.
With the accelerating global electrification process, market demand for high consistency and stability cathode materials continues to rise. However, the company's first-phase production capacity has reached saturation, and existing facilities can no longer meet growing order demands. The construction of NPC No.2 workshop represents a strategic response to this trend. The new facility will introduce more advanced equipment and intelligent systems. Upon completion, it will not only significantly expand production and storage space while enhancing output capacity, but also prioritize product quality improvement and technological optimization. This means NPC will be able to provide customers with larger quantities, higher-quality cathode materials with superior performance and reliability.
The advancement of Phase II project demonstrates NPC commitment to deepening its expertise in cathode materials and highlights the company's strategic support for the green energy industry chain. The company will leverage this phase II initiative to intensify R&D investments, refine product portfolios, enhance manufacturing quality, and elevate service standards. Upon full operationalization, the project will continuously strengthen the company's core competitiveness while injecting fresh momentum into its sustainable development.
